I am back and everything is pretty much the same apart from me.

Sometimes I encounter drawings I don't remember... it's a strange feeling. I'm still looking for old drawings that I do remember making, but can't remember where I put them.
How funny, we were thinking of the same course! But I guess it was fated that I chose another for a reason.
I like your description of "a big hole in the sky." It's exactly what I'm thinking when I look out... a grey sky that mirrors the grey city. It will keep raining for a few more months here.
